Richard and Diane Pabich Donate $100,000 to Salem Academy
SALEM, MA, September 28, 2022 — Salem Academy Charter School received a $100,000 donation from Richard and Diane Pabich to create the school’s inaugural endowment, announced Salem Academy Executive Director, Stephanie Callahan. This marks the largest private gift to Salem Academy to date.
The Pabichs stated, “We sincerely believe that Salem Academy excels in providing an excellent education to a diverse community of Salem students. Our gift is intended to offer scholarship assistance for these students as they pursue their future education”.
“This donation represents an endorsement for the education that Salem Academy has provided to the Salem community for the past 18 years”, said Callahan. “As we enter our third decade in 2024, we are uniquely positioned to grow our alumni support network. We hope to build upon this incredible gift to continue supporting our students as they pursue their dreams of college. I am truly grateful for the support of the Pabich Family and the opportunities they have afforded our students over the years”.
With the establishment of an endowment, Salem Academy will begin a new chapter in its fundraising efforts. The endowment will give Salem Academy a base of funds to help provide ongoing scholarships to graduating seniors. The Salem Academy Foundation will work with Cabot Wealth Management to invest the funds.
